Less than a year after deadly tornadoes hit Joplin, Missouri, students from Texas A&M Greek Life are heading there for spring break to help with clean up efforts.

More than 90 Aggie Greek volunteers boarded buses for Joplin Friday afternoon with the opportunity to give back foremost on their minds.

This is the 4th annual Aggie Greek Service Trip and this year the students will have a lot to do.

"There'll be some rebuilding projects. There'll be some work in the city hall and the city council building that they'll be working on. And there will be some demolition, which we did last year. There's a little mix of everything and there should be a lot of work for the students," said Nick Zuniga with Texas A&Ms Greek Life.

We'll have more on the student efforts in Joplin next week on KBTX News 3.
