COLLEGE STATION Demolition on Texas A&M's G. Rollie White Coliseum is expected to begin Monday, August 19th.
It has been a part of the Texas A&M campus landscape since the 1950's, and is being torn down to make room for the expansion of Kyle Field.
At one time it was the home for Aggie basketball games before Reed Arena was built, and has hosted numerous concerts, including Elvis Presley in 1955.
The university says it will come down in stages, starting with removing the brick.
It's expected to take nearly 3 weeks. No word yet on when the walls will actually start coming down.
You can watch the process by webcam on our webchannel, kbtx.com.
