Funeral arrangements are still pending for a beloved member of the Texas A&M community.
Reveille VII passed away Thursday morning following emergency surgery at the Texas A&M Veterinary Hospital.
She died of complications from an ulcer and served as the school's mascot from 2001 until retiring in 2008.
A memorial service is expected to take place sometime this fall when students return but university officials are still discussing plans.
It's unknown when she'll be buried next to Kyle Field with the previous mascots.
12th Man Foundation officials tell us currently the coming renovations at Kyle Field will not impact the cemetery where they are buried.
