A College Station native and NFL Referee was signing autographs for his new book at Barnes & Noble in Aggieland Friday.
Red Cashion's book, "First Dooowwwnnn...And Life To Go!" recounts his life officiating football and is also about sports and people.
Cashion was actually born on the Texas A&M Campus and been with the NFL 42 years now. Just this week he was nominated to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Something he's very humble about.
"I am stunned and humbled and having a hard time believing it. But I think it's absolutely wonderful," he said.
Rusty Burson of the 12th Man Foundation also helped write the book.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame will narrow down the 126 nominees list to 25 semifinalists.
Those will be announced in November.
