It's a developing story on a number of recent bomb threats at college campuses, including Texas A&M.

A 19-year-old woman has been arrested by Bryan Police and charged with making a terroristic threat and making a false alarm.

Brittany Henderson was arrested by Bryan Police after Texas State University Police say they tracked an e-mailed bomb threat to her.

That bomb threat forced the evacuation of the admissions building and two dormitories at Texas State in San Marcos one day before a bomb threat at A&M.

Some family friends had no idea until we told them that Brittany Henderson was in custody and they hope the charges aren't true.

A suspect has still not been named though in the bomb threat here at Texas A&M last Friday.

One day later, more than 50,000 people evacuated Texas A&M after an e-mail threat was received saying a bomb was somewhere on campus.

So far no one has been arrested or charged for the bomb threat here at A&M but police are looking to see if there's a connection.

Sonia Thomas and her sister Donna Johnson live just a few houses down from Henderson's house in Bryan and don't believe the charges are true.

"It's just hard for me to believe that she was involved and I really hope that you she wasn't involved in the situation because there are a lot of students out there," said Sonia Thomas.

"I been knowing her my whole life and just like my sister said it's just really, really really hard to believe you know," said Donna Johnson, of Bryan.

Noah Thacher is a Texas A&M Junior and was surprised someone local is accused of sending the Texas State bomb threat.

"I guess you can never really tell what people are gonna make those kind of moves and when they do it," said Thacher.

"I know her, I know her parents. Her grandfather was our pastor, Rev. Alexander was our pastor of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and it's just really hard to believe that she was involved because she was raised up in the church," said Sonia Thomas.

News 3 also stopped by Brittany Henderson's house where family members said they wouldn't comment yet and are still trying to learn more details on the investigation.

Brittany Henderson remains in the Brazos County Jail without bond.
