New Kyle Field Suites Expected To Be Pricey

*10 P.M. Update*

Renovations to Texas A&M's Kyle Field will make it one of the finest football stadiums in the country.

The images of what the new and improved Kyle Field will look like in two years have been released.

It turns out the new luxury suites at the Home of the 12th Man, will also be Home of the Wealth Man.

The biggest and arguably best stadium in the Lone Star State will reshape Kyle Field into a spectacular stadium by the start of the 2015 season.

And from the looks of things, those attending the games will be surrounded by luxury inside and out.

"My son went here. I'm extremely proud of A&M," said Mark Kristen, Owner of Kristen Distributing.

He is a long time Aggie Fan and has had a suite at Kyle Field for a couple years.

His current one runs about $40,000 a season, but new suites at Kyle will be costlier.

"I know it's going to be in the vicinity of six times more expensive for us, but you know I want to support the community and I truly want to support A&M because that is how we function here," said Kristen.

He says his current suite on the west or alumni side doesn't feel like a suite.

"I want to tell you that the facilities really should not be called a suite on the west side. They've been there a long time Clay, but they are really what I'd call a box," he said.

Other reliable sources tell us the 12 Founders Suites which will be the best of of the best are expected to cost a pretty penny.

Reports of even $12 million for a 20 year lease.

But the 12th Man Foundation isn't commenting yet.

Meanwhile Mark Kristen hopes he'll be moving into a new suite if he can get one.

"If Texas A&M was not here, we wouldn't be here," he said.

Supporting the Aggies at even higher costs.

Suite prices will released on May 6th, with other seating options released on June 4th.

We've also learned that the 12th Man Foundation had an invite-only meeting Thursday night at Miramont Country Club in Bryan for prospective suite buyers.

The entire renovation is expected to cost $450 million.

*6 P.M. Update*

The Texas A&M Board of Regents this week approved big renovation and expansion changes for Kyle Field.

And the newly-released video and pictures of the new and improved football stadium make it hard to ignore the "wow" factor.

News 3 has been looking into what the new suites are going to look like at Kyle Field and they're pretty impressive.

Ticket prices on the suites at the stadium aren't being released until May 6th, but you can bet it'll be more than what the average person can afford.

There will be new world class amenities throughout the stadium and even 12 special Founders Suites, which would be the cream of the crop.

We've heard from reliable sources those could be in the millions of dollars for a long-term agreement.

One of them could potentially even go for as high as $12 million for a 20 year lease.

But there's nothing official yet.

Mark Kristen of Kristen Distributing has a suite which runs from around $40,000 a season.

He hopes to have new suite in the new stadium but expects it could cost six times as much.

"We have a good time. However I want to tell you that the facilities really should not be called a suite on the west side. They've been there a long time Clay but they are really what I'd call a box. For instance there's a little wet bar in there but there's nothing as big as there should be to accommodate the people, and of course no restrooms," explained Kristen.

News 3 was made aware from other sources that the 12th Man Foundation had an invite-only meeting Thursday night at Miramont Country Club for prospective suite buyers.

The entire renovation is expected to cost $450 million.

Part of the Kyle Field payment plan involves College Station, Bryan and Brazos County chipping in about $36 million of hotel occupancy tax.

Through the deal, the cities and county are set to get more access to A&M facilities for holding events.
