Annual Spring Concert: How Can I Keep from Singing?, 7:30-9:30pm, Rudder Theater
The Texas A&M University Women's Chorus is hosting their annual spring concert "How Can I Keep from Singing?" this Parents’ Weekend. The repertoire includes a mix of classical and more contemporary choral works. Tickets are available from the Rudder Box Office for $5 presale and $8 at the door.
College of Liberal Arts Recognition Ceremony, 2pm - 4pm, Frymire Auditorium
Annenberg Presidential Conference Center at the George Bush Presidential Library Center. The college recognizes the outstanding academic accomplishments by students in Liberal Arts including Dean’s List and scholarship recipients. Student Recognition Ceremony 2:00-3:00, Reception 3:00-4:00.
Corps of Cadets Parents’ Weekend Review, 5:30pm
Cadets will begin formation on the Quad: 5:30, and step off at 5:40. Formation on Kyle Field is at 6:00, and awarding of Flags will begin at 6:15 pm. Pass in Review takes place at 6:45, and Cadets will return to the Quad at 7:00.
Corps Unit Awards and Military Review, 5:30pm-6:30pm
The Corps of Cadets will form on the Quadrangle and march through campus to form for a Military Parade and Award Ceremony on Kyle Field. At 6:00 pm President Loftin along with the Commandant of the Corps of Cadets and sponsors of the significant awards will present the Major Unit Awards. The Corps will Pass in Review following the Award Ceremony to honor the Cadets' parents, family members and friends.
First Year Photo Project Final Show, 3-5pm, MSC Education Gallery
First Year Photo Project serves as a way for first-year students to intentionally document their personal transition to Texas A&M University through guided photography, internal reflection and communication with others. This project will challenge its participants to examine personal identity, their future hopes and dreams, their uncertainties, and what Texas A&M means to them. At the end of the year, F1 puts on a Final Show featuring photographs from each member from throughout the year. We invite you to attend the reception for the Final Show, on April 12 from 3-5pm in the Memorial Student Center Education Gallery.

The International Student Association will be hosting a dinner with entertainment on the Friday of Parents’ Weekend. Authentic international food from different countries will be served. Each ticket will cost $8 if you buy from MSC box office (pre-sale)! We will sell tickets at the door, each ticket will cost $10 at the door and we will accept only cash or checks. There will be three performance while participants eat - 1. Belly dance performance 2. Salsa fusion 3. Ball room dancing (they will teach cha-cha salsa dance to participants).
