It's going to cost you more for season tickets to see the Aggie Football team play at Kyle Field this fall.
As the university transitions to the SEC, ticket prices are going up $25 per game for students and $50 more for general season ticket holders.
The new price for season tickets now averages $360 dollars a seat.
Texas A&M Senior Associate Athletics Director Jeff Schmahl tells us the move to the SEC is bringing new financial challenges.
"We've only had one season ticket price increase in the last nine years and that was 6.4 percent back in 2008. We continue to have budgetary challenges that we need to meet but there are some increased costs in moving to the SEC Conference," said Schmahl.
There are currently 4,500 on the waiting list for season tickets which athletic officials say is an unprecedented demand.
