Smelly Trash Causes Evacuation of Blocker Building at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION Smelly trash caused the brief evacuation of a building on the Texas A&M campus Monday afternoon.

According to Texas A&M University Police, just before 11 o'clock, someone reportedly smelled gas in the Blocker Building on campus and pulled the fire alarm. The building was evacuated.

Fire fighters responded and searched the building. The source of the smell of determined to be trash. People were allowed back into the building after the all-clear was given at 11:28 a.m.
