Renovations on the Texas A&M Golf Course continue to move forward, but the course is not expected to reopen until October or November.
According to the project's head architect, the course will not be open in time for the first home football weekend this season.
The delay is due to additions to the original plans.
Course superintendent, Tanner Light, says crews are in the process of laying new grass.
Project supervisors are pleased with the renovations so far.
