Texas A&M Memorial Student Center Hosts Open House Sunday

Updated: Sun 10:55 PM, Sep 02, 2012

Texas A&M's Memorial Student Center is back open as the living room of campus.

On Sunday an open house is going on from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. highlighting student involvement on campus.

Many of the university's 800-plus student organizations are on display to give students information on ways they can get involved.

"Over at our paintball booth we've had like probably around 750 people sign up who are interested in the club so we're really happy about that and we've been walking around seeing all the other clubs. It's packed, lots of people here, lots of different organizations. Anything you'd want is here somewhere," said Robin Operhall, a Texas A&M Junior and member of the Paintball Club.

Activities continue the rest of the week including Academic Day on Monday, History and Traditions Day Tuesday, Service Day Wednesday, Visual and Performing Arts Day Thursday, and a Grand Finale Friday. The weeklong Howdy Housewarming Hullaballo winds up Saturday, September 8th when A&M takes on Florida in their first SEC football game.
