Texas A&M and Florida Fans Begin Arriving for Saturday's Big Game

Updated: Fri 10:53 PM, Sep 07, 2012

Texas A&M and Florida fans are arriving in droves for Saturday's big game and a national television audience.

Aggieland will be in the national spotlight as ESPN broadcasts the 2:30 game, and also College Gameday Saturday morning.

Gameday crews have assembled the set and jumbotron screens at Texas A&M's Simpson Drill Field.

The site will give Saturday's audience a scenic view of The Zone at Kyle Field, overlooking the newly-renovated Memorial Student Center.

This is GameDay's third overall visit to Aggieland, and the first since A&M played Oklahoma in 2006.

And the anchors of that show, Chris Fowler, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard arrived on campus Friday, with an interesting perspective on The 12th Man.

ESPN anchor Chris Fowler said, "Yeah, I don't think I expect an extra level of crazy from The 12th Man because it's the SEC, because it's already been off the charts. It's already as good an atmosphere as anywhere else."

But Fowler says don't expect Florida to wilt.
The Gators are used to loud and raucous crowds in the SEC.

College Gameday airs Saturday morning at 8 on ESPN-U, then continues at 9 on ESPN.
