Texas A&M Game Against OSU Standing Room Only Now for Student Tickets

Texas A&M squares off against Oklahoma State Saturday at 2:30 and if you still want to see it in person instead of on national TV good luck getting a ticket.

News 3 looks into the latest on what's still available and how Aggie football tickets for resale have gone through the roof.

Tickets are selling out for the third time this fall as the number eight ranked Aggies take on number seven Oklahoma State.

It's shaping up to be a season to remember for Texas A&M Senior Morgan Hiser.

"I pulled on Monday. I couldn't pull a guest ticket I had to wait 'till most people got them this morning but I got it now at the ticket place and basically you can trade your ticket in and get another ticket back but you can't sit with your group of friends," said Hiser.

Tickets left now are standing room only for students.

"Today I got three, one for my friend, one for me and one for my friend's girlfriend so yeah we'll be going to the game tomorrow," said Scott Coleman a Texas A&M Sophomore.

If you aren't a student or season ticket holder there are still hundreds of tickets listed on secondary markets like StubHub.

The cheapest seat we found on StubHub for Saturday's game was going for $80 at the top of the North End Zone while 19 rows up from the Aggie's home bench near the 30 yard line would set you back $300 a seat.

Texas A&M Sports Information Director Alan Cannon says momentum continues to build from last year's games against Oklahoma and Nebraska.

As far as the remaining standing room tickets:
"Any of the students that are interested definitely can come up to the ticket windows and either pull the ticket if they already have their season ticket pass or get a guest ticket at $80 or the students by themselves at $40," said Cannon.

"It'll be a really exciting game," said Morgan Hiser.

An exciting game for the biggest matchup so far of the season.

And a matchup that might not happen next year if A&M joins the SEC.

Aggie ticket prices have soared 30 percent since last week on the secondary markets according to TiqIQ.com .

The average A&M Football ticket price is now $236, number three most expensive in the nation behind Oregon and Nebraska.
