COLLEGE STATION- A company that makes vaccines wants to expand in Texas A&M's Bio-Corridor and it's getting the backing of College Station.
The College Station City Council Thursday night approved a nearly $1.1 million dollar property tax break for Kalon Biotherapeutics over a seven year period.
The company plans to expand from its current facility at the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing on Discovery Drive, to a new facility near the Traditions Club.
Kalon is obligated to create $70 million in real and personal property valuation, along with 100 full-time equivalent jobs with an annual payroll of $6 million beginning in 2018.
