Officials in Prescott, Wisconsin say 39-year-old Lisa Noel Villigan died Saturday night when the pickup she was driving crashed into a home, triggering a natural gas explosion.
The accident happened at about 9:00 p.m. in Prescott, about 25 miles southeast of St. Paul.
Police say the pickup damaged a natural gas meter in the crash and ended up about six feet inside the home. Officer Ben Henrick who responded to the scene, was thrown 15 to 20 feet by the explosion.
The woman who died in the blast was the only person in the pickup.
