A man near Cleveland, Ohio faced several charges for allegedly stealing a radio from car, only to return it when he decided it was not a quality product.
Surveillance video released Tuesday showed the 26-year-old male suspect in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart Superstore in Middlefield, Ohio. The man is shown leaving his yellow truck and stealing the radio from a parked car.
However, a short time later, the tape shows the yellow truck returning. Police said a juvenile then exits the truck and returned the radio to the car! Authorities said the suspect changed his mind about the radio after realizing it was not very good.
Police later arrested the suspect in another ironic twist. Authorities said after viewing the security tape, they recognized the suspect's truck. Turns out the man delivered newspapers to the police department!
He was apprehended by police during a recent delivery.
Police said the suspect is facing a list of charges including theft of some food items from the Wal-Mart.
