Drivers on Route 495 in Littleton, Massachusetts were seeing red Wednesday...literally.
A tanker truck carrying red dye spilled its load on the northbound side late Tuesday night and with the morning commute the dye spread along a 1,500 foot stretch of the highway.
The spill caused back ups on both sides of the highway, as motorists slowed to check out the red road.
State police have received several reports that the dye is getting on people's cars. The good news for drivers, however, is that it washes off with water.
