A woman in northern Idaho has been battling a case of hiccups for months and she's hoping she will see some relief soon.
Mary Kay Keener says her hiccups started on August 28, 2006 and they haven't stopped since. For nearly eight months, the sound of Mary Kay's hiccups have been filling the area of a store where she works and despite trips to the doctor, prescription drugs and trying just about every hiccup remedy known to man, her hiccups continue to make her life miserable.
Mary Kay says the hiccups make her sick to her stomach.
Members of the community have started a fundraising campaign to help collect money so Mary Kay can see a specialist out of state, but until that happens, she says she continues to wait and pray that the hiccups will stop.
