Three cattle escaped from a transport vessel in Townsville Australia on Tuesday, running through the small town.
Cattlehandlers managed to round up two of them but one cow evaded capture, running from the boat into the town centre.
One onlooker expressed his surprise at seeing the cows on the loose:
"I thought maybe a Kangaroo or something, but a cow."
One of the handlers who tried to catch the animal was injured slightly after the steer rammed him.
But after a 2 mile (3 kilometre) chase, musterers eventually secured the beast.
"It's an escape artist," one of the musterers said with a smile.
