LOS ANGELES -- Paris Hilton has been ordered back to court Friday morning for a hearing on whether she should be returned to jail.
A Superior Court spokesman says the Los Angeles city attorney has filed a petition for an order to show cause why LA County Sheriff Lee Baca should not be held in contempt for releasing Hilton. And the city attorney is demanding that Hilton be held in custody.
The sheriff had placed the celebrity heiress under house arrest, just three days into a 23-day jail stint.
Hilton was fitted with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and released to the comforts of her 2,700-square-foot Hollywood Hills home due to an unspecified medical condition.
