A family pet is heading to central Florida after causing quite a stir in sleepy Buffalo Sunday.
The Department of Environmental Conservation removed eight foot Jojo from his cozy home in a Buffalo basement.
Officials say the alligator was in good shape and was being well taken care of but such reptiles are illegal in Buffalo without a special permit.
Jojo will be packed into a mini van and hit the road to Tampa where he will live out the remainder of his days at the Croc Encounters Reptile Sanctuary.
