A man in Georgia's capital, Tbilisi, set a new and unusual record in weight lifting on Tuesday, though the results have yet to be verified by the Guinness book of records.
Tedo Ulumbelashvili, a 30-year-old traffic policeman appeared to break the previous record by lifting a 34 pound dumbbell tied to his ears three times while holding another 16 kilogram dumbbell in his mouth.
One more dumbbell was tied to his hair.
Judges representing Georgian committee for athletics were present to watch the record attempt taking place.
Results will be sent to the Guinness record book for verification.
"I was preparing intensively to set the record for the past eight months and the result is very good," Tedo said after the feat.
