A CNN anchor and a former Texas A&M student has been suspended after comments he made on twitter.
Roland Martin, a C-N-N Political analyst, was suspended by the network because of a tweet he sent out during the Super Bowl game on Sunday.
Martin tweeted, ""If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham's H&M underwear ad, smack the ish out of him!"
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation said the tweet advocated violence against gays.
Martin said he only was making a joke about soccer.
But CNN says Martin's remarks were "regrettable and offensive" and he will not be on air "for the time being."
