Blushing Aggie bride Victoria Roesch is telling everybody about her love for her fiance Chris Halton.
"It's true when they say, 'when you know, you know,' " said Roesch.
The couple met on the dating website Plenty of Fish and while Chris is at his new job in Houston, Victoria is planning for a wedding on the same day she graduates from A&M.
"He just looked at me and said, I'm wondering what you're doing for the rest of your life. And I was like, oh my goodness," said Roesch.
The fact the couple met on the Plenty of Fish website has put them in a unique position to possibly win $100,000 thanks to their unique story of looking for love on the laptop.
"I thought we don't have anything to lose, sat down and spent a couple of hours writing it up and the rest is history," said Roesch.
Victoria and Chris are one of six couples up for the prize with voting coming to close on Thursday.
"We're so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and this money would just really give us a good start," said Roesch.
While meeting on the web isn't so out of the norm, the timing of Chris' entry into Victoria's life couldn't have been any better.
You see Victoria wanted to make sure her dad got to meet the man she would eventually marry.
"He never really liked any of my old boyfriends. They were the Northgate type," joked Roesch.
Chris asked for permission to marry his daughter while Victoria hid with her mother to hear what he'd say.
"We heard the whole two hour spiel of you take care of her or I will kill you," said Roesch with a grin.
The blessing of the marriage mean a lot to Victoria who just lost her dad to cancer last December.
"It was just wonderful to know that he approved and it was really good that he got to meet him," said Roesch.
Now if you'd like to vote for Victoria and Chris to win the $100,000 prize from the Plenty of Fish website, there is a catch, you have to be a registered Plenty of Fish member.
