Jalen Rose to be Sentenced for Drunken Driving

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Former NBA guard Jalen Rose is
due in a Michigan courtroom to be sentenced for a drunken driving
crash along a snowy suburban Detroit road in March.

Rose pleaded guilty to drunken driving and faces up to 93 days
in jail and a $500 fine when he's sentenced Wednesday in Bloomfield
Hills District Court.

The former University of Michigan star told a judge in May that
he had six martinis the night he veered off the West Bloomfield
Township road.

Authorities say Rose had an 0.088 percent blood-alcohol content,
above Michigan's legal driving limit of 0.08 percent. A hospital
test showed his blood-alcohol content as 0.12 percent.

Rose played for six teams during his 13-year NBA career. He is
now an NBA analyst for ESPN.
