A few blocks from where he won the Heisman Trophy, Johnny Manziel took another big stage Monday.
The Texas A&M quarterback delivered the Top Ten List on "The Late Show with David Letterman," which airs weeknights at 10:35 p.m. on KBTX.
Manziel has been in New York in the days following his Saturday night win of college football's biggest individual prize. Tuesday morning, an interview aired on CBS This Morning, also on KBTX.
The redshirt freshman has appeared on a plethora of programs on radio and television.
For his countdown on the Ed Sullivan Theater stage for Letterman, Manziel jokingly noted that among the perks of winning the Heisman, he did not have to go to practice anymore, and that his mother would now stop nagging him about going to dental school.
The 20-year-old will be welcomed home Wednesday, along with other Aggie football award winners and nominees. The event, "Celebrating the 12th Man," is open to the community, and will take place at 5:00 p.m. from the steps of the Memorial Student Center. If you can't make it, the celebration will be live on KBTX, CW8 and KBTX.com.
