No Ducking this Charge

No ducking this charge.

Authorities accuse an 80-year-old Massachusetts woman with illegal duck feeding. Authorities in Lynn say Claire Butcher is violating a "no trespass" order in city parks.

They say she's feeding ducks and geese in violation of a 2009 order against her to keep out of all city parks.

Officials say Butcher has been cited a dozen times for feeding wildlife -- at 100 bucks a pop. But Butcher tells a local paper (Daily Item) the birds "don't belong to the city, they belong to God." She faces another fine and up to 30 days in jail.
