Emergency officials have given the all clear after a bomb threat was called in to the Aggieland Premiere Cinema 16 in the 900 block of Earl Rudder Freeway in Bryan Thursday evening.

A theater representative says all theater operations are back to normal and open for customers.

An employee of Premiere told News 3 that a bomb threat had been received by phone to the Aggieland Premiere Cinema 16 location. That phone call was reportedly made by what they described as a 'recorded voice'. A manager with the company says they are taking precautions to ensure the safety of their customers.

According to police on scene, the threat was investigated and a search was conducted for any sort of danger, but nothing was found. They emphasize the threat has been cleared.

A sergeant with the Bryan Police Department says that search began around 9:15pm and lasted between 30 and 45 minutes. No evacuations were ordered at any time.

Officers say additional law enforcement officers were scheduled to be on scene to increase security for a high volume of expected movie-goers, and will remain on the property for the remainder of the evening.

This threat comes on the same night as the local premiere of the most recent film of the Twilight Saga series, with many of the shows listed as sold out on the theater's website.
