Wanda Rae Maples, 79, longtime resident of Crockett, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008, in Rolla, Missouri. Services will be Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 9 a.m. at Crockett Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Maples was born January 25, 1929 to Rammie A. and Mary Berta (Manning) Smith of Madisonville.
Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Maples.
She is survived by daughters, Gloria G. Chrismer and husband, Frank, of Mt. Ida, Ark., and Mary Rammie Cree and husband, Robert, of Newark, N.Y.; four granddaughters, Brandye L. Brown and significant other James "Rusty" Brenner, of Dallas, Erin E. Brown of Portales, N.M., Robyn A. Cree of State College, Pa., and K. Acalia Cree of College Station; brother, Charles Smith and wife, Faye, of Madisonville; beloved niece and nephews, Lisa Brown and husband, Bobby, of Bedias, Joey Smith and wife, Suzanne, of Madisonville, and King Smith and wife, Sylvia, of Stephenville.
