Carlyne Jenkins Vickery, of Dale, Texas passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 after battling Alzheimer's disease for nine years. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan St., Lockhart, TX. Burial will follow at Jeffery Cemetery in McMahan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Neva Jenkins; and grandson, Scotty Dunkeson.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Royce Vickery; two daughters, Brenda Marsh and husband, Jason, Linda Lynn Dunkeson and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua and Rachelle; two brothers, Willard Jenkins and wife, Carol of Sherman Oaks, Calif. and Bob Jenkins and wife, Jan of Ft. Worth.
