Browning, Ina Dyess December 15, 1914 - May 5, 2008 Ina Dyess Browning, 93, of Bryan passed away Monday at Sheridan of Bryan. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday at Steep Hollow Cemetery. She was born in Brazos County and had been a lifetime resident. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J. Maurice Dyess and a daughter, Mary Alice Dyess Deegan. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Browning of Bryan; sisters, Maudell Greer of Bryan and Artie Barnett of Austin; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ina and Maurice were wonderful friends to Tom and I in the 70's when our children were growing up. We loved Steep Hollow Baptist Church and remember Ina's wonderful smile and patience with all the small children. After Maurice passed away we were delighted when she and Tom married and could continue to enjoy life and have great companionship. Ina was a great Christian and an example to me when I was young and in my 30's. Now that I'm nearly 70 I try to set the same example before younger people. ----Carolyn and Tom Johnson Conroe, Texas
