Lydia Smith, 97, of Bryan passed away on Friday, June 26, 2009, in Bryan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 29, at Hillier Funeral Home.

Services are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, at Hillier Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wheelock Cemetery.

Lydia was born on August 26, 1911. She lived a happy and full life and was surrounded by a loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Smith; brother, W.C. Scasta Sr.; daughter-in-law, Glane Smith; and son-in-law, K. D. Timmons.

Survivors her son, Gordon Lee Smith of Belgrade, Mont.; daughter, Marlene Smith Timmons of Bryan; grandchildren, Kim Smith Morgan of Bryan, Patricia Timmons Ball of College Station, Michael Lee Smith of Eureka, Mont., Jeffrey James Timmons of Austin, Randy Lee Smith of Altus, Okla. and Jennifer Smith Young of Livingston, Mont.; 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
