Frances Mae Roach, of Hearne, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Glenn Mack Funeral Home in Hearne. Services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at New Elam Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Derron Robinson. Interment will follow at Greater Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Roach was born on Jan. 14, 1925. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Sr., and Augusta Workman Roach; a special friend, the late Johnnie Clark and four brothers, Hubert Roach Jr., Fred Roach, Earnest Roach and Rev. C.M. Roach; Mrs. Roach was a member of New Elam Missionary Baptist Church, she loved helping people and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by one daughter, Rosemary and husband, Lewis Thomson; a sister, Rosa Lee Roach Curtis; sisters-in-law, Ester Webster Roach, Jimmie Smith Roach; three grandchildren, Jacqulyne, Lewis Jr. and Quindric Lewis Thompson; nine great- grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. The Roach family would like to thank all who sent cards, called, brought gifts and flowers. We thank you so much. God Bless you all.
