Ruben Argueta Y Argueta, 97, of College Station, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Orlando, Florida. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, with a rosary to be recited at 6:30. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2009, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in College Station. Burial will follow at College Station Cemetery.

Ruben was born on September 21, 1911, in El Salvador, to Lisandro and Carlota Argueta.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Argueta.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ruben and Blanca Argueta, of California; daughters and sons-in-law, Yolanda and Miguel Angel Alarcon, of College Station, Texas, Ana Alacia and Gilberto Santos, of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
