It weighs eight pounds, takes three months to make and sure looks pretty good sitting in sunshine at Kyle Field. Every year the American Football Coaches Association awards this beautiful trophy to the school that wind the BCS National Championship game.
On Saturday, the trophy and its handlers visited College Station and the Aggie Gameday set. The trophy travels to a different city each week during the season.
Charley Green talked with the guys about how people react to the trophy and the the Coaches for a Cure campaign that helps raise money for MD research.
