The next home game for Texas A&M in November 17th, against Sam Houston State University.

The Opening Drive on Aggie Gameday gets you caught up on everything you need to know about the match-up between Texas A&M and LSU.

Texas A&M
Players to watch - Offense
Johnny Manziel

When you talk about the Texas A&M offense, it all start with quarterback Johnny Manziel. He has thrown for 1,680 yards and 14 touchdowns this season against just three interceptions. Johnny "Football" has also run for 676 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is second in the nation in total offense putting up 392 yards per game.

Players to watch - Defense
Damontre Moore

On the other side of the ball, defensive end Damontre Moore could make life difficult for the tigers Saturday. Moore leads the Aggies with 52 tackles on the season. "Da-monster" is tied for the national lead averaging two and a half sacks per game and is tied for second nationally with just under a sack and a half per game.

Keys to the Game

Moore and the Aggies defense will have to be solid against the run Saturday. LSU averages 206 yards a game on the ground compared to 188 yards a game through the air.

The Aggies have to score when they have chances. LSU is only giving up 14 points per game. A&M has been good in the red zone scoring on 89-percent of their chances.

A&M has to limit their mistakes. The team overcame six turnovers to beat Ole Miss and 19 penalties to beat Louisiana Tech. That many mistakes Saturday will likely mean a loss to the Tigers.

LSU
Players to watch - Offense
Zach Mettenberger

The LSU offense is led by quarterback Zach Mettenberger. He has thrown for 1,322 yards and six touchdowns. Mettenberger has also thrown four interceptions. He is not a threat to run. For the season, Mettenberger is averaging minus 4.2 yards a game rushing.

Players to watch - Defense
Kevin Minter

Linebacker Kevin Minter leads the Tigers in tackles with 63. He has also recorded eight and a half tackles for loss and two sacks. Minter is tied for second in the SEC averaging nine tackles per game.

Keys to the Game

Minter and the Tigers will have to try and keep Aggie QB Johnny Manziel in check. If he gets rolling, and is a threat with his arm and legs, it will tough for LSU to leave Kyle Field with a win.

LSU has to improve their red zone defense. Opponents have scored on all 13 trips inside the Tigers 20 yard line.

Winning the time of posession battle will help LSU's chances Saturday. If they can hold onto the ball it will keep an Aggie offense that leads the SEC in total offense and scoring offense off the field.

Aggies
Saturday's game at Kyle Field will be the last one until November 17th when Texas A&M hosts Sam Houston State. The Aggies are in the middle of a six game stretch where they will be on the road five times. Many people were hoping this game would be later in the day at 2:30 or even 6:00 tonight but, even with an 11am start expect Kyle Field to have a great atmosphere with LSU in town.

"There is excitement. We know Kyle Field will be crazy, it is going to be a ridiculous atmosphere, it is going to be a maroon out so there is going to be a ton of excitement but as a football team we have to keep our focus not on what is going on outside the field but how we can make sure we win this game and how we can do what we need to do to be succesfull on the field," says Jonathon Stewart.

"Home games are one of those games that you have to bring it all. The atmosphere is going to be crazy. It is a very important game every week from here on out is going to be important. Just one game at a time like we have been saying and it is going to be exciting this weekend," says Steven Terrell.

LSU
LSU enters Saturday's game 6 and 1 on the season and ranked number six in the country. The Tigers are coming off a 23-21 win over South Carolina last week in Baton Rouge. This will be LSU's third road game of the season so they do know what it's like to play away from home but Kyle Field is a unique place to play. It's a place Tiger head coach Les Miles has been before when he was at Oklahoma State.

"The people really enjoy their team, there's a real loyalty there, and opponents that visit recognize it. They understand that the crowd is partisan, and they understand that they care. I think it's always been a place where, as an opponent, you wanted to go and play well," says Coach Miles.

History
Saturday is the 51st meeting between the Aggies and Tigers. LSU leads the all time series with 27 wins against 20 losses. There have been three ties in the series. The last meeting between the two teams was in the 2011 Cotton Bowl, a game LSU won 41-24.

12th Man
The 12th man for Saturday's game is defensive back C.J. Jones. This will be the third time Jones has been the 12th Man. He also wore the number 12 against Arkansas and Ole Miss. Jones has played in all six game this season and has recorded four tackle.
