#1 Blinn Improves To 31-0 With Sweep Of No. 15 Panola

CARTHAGE, TX -- The #1 rankrd Blinn College Volleyball team finished the 2011 Region XIV Conference undefeated with a three set sweep of conference foe, and #15 ranked Panola College 25-17, 25-10, 25-19.

Blinn went 12-0 in conference play to secure the #1 seed in the Regional Tournament played at Blinn College November 4th and 5th. In the match the Bucs were led by Preslie Alexander with 12 kills and 3 blocks. Setter Jackie Gerig dished out 33 assists while Libero Kalli Mikulik dug 16 balls while the Bucs blocked 7 balls on the night.

The Buccaneers (31-0) play their final home match Tuesday November 1st and will celebrate the out going sophomores. The match will begin at 6pm.
