The Blinn College women’s basketball team won itsr 20th game of the season by routing visiting Jacksonville 67-37 Saturday afternoon in “Sophomore Day.”
Britney Minor led the scoring punch for the Lady Bucs, contributing 17 points.
The win improves Blinn to 20-9 overall and 12-5 in conference play.
Blinn will head to Tyler on Tuesday for a very important game to close out regular season play.
That game will determine the seeding for the upcoming Region XIV postseason tournament.
After the game, Blinn sophomores Keisha Greenwood, Britney Minor, Amira Ford, Shamell Spivey and Amaka Uzomah were recognized for their contributions to the Blinn basketball program.
Britney Minor received the Don Wilhelm MVP award.
