Blinn College in Bryan had a hot start Monday morning.
According to Blinn College officials, the chillers for the air conditioning system were knocked out, leaving the building without air overnight.
The air conditioner was turned back on Monday morning, but it takes a couple of hours to completely cool the building say Blinn College officials.
Blinn College maintenance crews worked overnight to bring the system back online.
Monday morning doors to the campus were propped open in an effort to keep the interior of the building as cool as possible.
Blinn College expects the building to return to normal conditions by Noon.
Canceling classes was left up to the discretion of instructors.
