Blinn Completes Perfect Regular Season, Heads Into Playoffs 32-0

BRENHAM, TX -- The #1 ranked Blinn College Volleyball team finished its’ regular season with a perfect 32-0 record with a three game sweep of Wharton County Junior College (25-13, 25-10, 25-20). Blinn won behind a total team effort with a pair of middles leading the way for the Buccaneers,

Vladislava Kopanarova and Preslie Alexander each had 9 kills on the match. Kopanarova was perfect for the match with 9 kills on 9 attempts. Sophomore setter Kelsey Schwartz dished out 24 assists and Paige Hamilton led the defense with 10 digs. It was sophomore night for the Buccaneers as the sophomore class leaves Blinn with an overall record of 64-7 in the last two years.

The Blinn moves into the post season which begins Friday as they host the Region XIV Volleyball Tournament. Blinn College will face Paris Junior College Friday at 5pm with Tyler Junior College playing Panola College following at 7pm. The Championship match is Saturday at 2pm.
