Blinn Drops Panola In Four For 24th Straight

BRENHAM, TX --The Blinn College Volleyball team defeated conference rival and #19 ranked Panola College in a four set match 25-20, 25-15, 21-15, 25-22.

The Buccaneers improved to 24-0 and 6-0 in conference play. The match marked the end of the first round of conference play with Thursday’s match versus Lon Morris College starting the second and final round. In the Panola match the #2 ranked Buccaneers were led by Shelby Dickson and Ksenia Sukhareva both with 14 kills on the match.

Setter Jackie Gerig dished out 40 assists while the defense was led by 16 team blocks with Preslie Alexander and Gerig each having 5 blocks. Kalli Mikulik and Paige Hamilton added 13 digs each.
