Blinn Volleyball Runs Winning Streak To 30 After 3 Set Sweep of Trinity Valley

BRENHAM, TX -- The Blinn College Volleyball team made it 30-0 with a three set sweep of Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, TX. Currently the #1 team in the nation the Buccaneers won 25-13, 25-20, 25-20 behind the hitting of Ksenia Sukhareva and Chelsea Soto with 11 and 10 kills respectively.

Setter Jackie Gerig dished out 38 assists and added 6 kills and 4 aces. The defense was led by Kalli Mikulik with 20 digs. Blinn travels again Thursday to face conference foe Panola College in the conference finale.

The last regular season home match is Tuesday November 1st at 6pm. Blinn will also host the Region XIV Volleyball tournament on November 4th and 5th.
