Blinn Volleyball Wins Home Opener

The Blinn College Volleyball Team won its home opener versus Hill College 25-15, 25-15, 25-14 in front of a packed gym.

The Buccaneer offense was led by Shelby Dickson with 12 kills, Chelsea Soto with 7 kills, and Jackie Gerig with 20 assists.

The defense was led by Kalli Mikulik with 15 digs and Paige Hamilton with 10. Preslie Alexander had 4 blocks.

Blinn Volleyball (5-0) returns to action this weekend when it hosts its annual Labor Day Classic. The Buccaneers will face Hill College on Friday at 1pm at and Wharton at 7pm.

The tournament continues Saturday with the Bucs playing at 1pm vs. Temple and 5pm vs. San Jacinto College.
