BRENHAM, Texas -- Blinn College baseball’s doubleheader today against Wharton County Junior College has been postponed once more due to travel issues.
The doubleheader was originally scheduled to be played Thursday in Wharton, but because of inclement weather was rescheduled for today in Brenham. The games will now take place Saturday starting at 4 p.m. at Leroy Dreyer Field in Brenham.
The Buccaneers will host Adam’s Angels Night during Saturday’s game in support of Adam’s Angels Ministry, a non-profit organization founded by Donna and Tim Culliver of Brenham as a way to reach out to families that have been affected by childhood cancer. The Cullivers lost their 4-year-old son, Adam Christian Culliver, to acute myelogenous leukemia.
Proceeds from the game will be donated to Adam’s Angels Ministry. Last year, the Bucs raised more than $1,600.
Both games will be broadcast on TSRN online radio. For more information on Blinn baseball, visit buccaneersports.com.
