Bucs sweep non-conference double-header
Freshman Vesely goes perfect 5-for-5 on the day

Vesely went 5-for-5 and Blinn defeated Concordia University Texas 7-2 and 4-3 in a non-conference double-header that served as a warm-up for the Buccaneers’ Region XIV Conference series against Angelina College beginning Thursday.
Vesely paced the Bucs with three hits in the opening game and freshman Eric Wood went 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Holden Cammack also drove in a run for the Bucs in support of left-hander Kyle Mueller. Mueller threw four innings, allowing two earned runs.

Vesely went 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Jake Kane and J.C. Neighbors also drove in runs for the Bucs.
Garrett Logan was 2-for-4, and Kevin Daniels and D’Andre Heggie each had hits.
Taylor Cobb threw an inning in relief to earn the win, and Karl Malecek went three innings, allowing one run.
