Lady Bucs Run Winning Streak To 10 In 4 Set Win Over Wharton

BRENHAM, TX -- The Blinn College Volleyball team won its 10th straight match with a 3-1 win over Wharton County Junior College (25-13, 25-14, 21-25, 25-10). The Bucs were led by Chelsea Soto with 15 kills, Shelby Dickson with 10, Courtni Bauer with 9, and Ksenia Sukhareva with 8. Setters Jackie Gehrig and Kelsey Schwartz added 33 and 24 assists respectively.

Five players had at least 7 digs and Chelsea Soto added 5 blocks and Preslie Alexander added 4. Blinn had 18 blocks on the night. The Buccaneers return to action Friday at the Woodlands Wave Patriot's Day Classic.
