HOUSTON – The San Jacinto Ravens rallied in the final three minutes to defeat the Blinn College men’s basketball team 93-87 here Saturday in Region XIV Conference play.
Blinn led 83-79 with three minutes to go, but San Jacinto’s pressure defense forced four Buccaneer turnovers in the game’s final moments. After San Jacinto switched defenses, Blinn’s next four possessions resulted in a turnover, a 10-second violation, another turnover and an offensive charging call. Blinn committed four of its 10 turnovers in the final three minutes.

Mohammad Lee led San Jacinto with a game-high 23 points.
Macari Brooks and De’Quentin Greer each scored 17 for the Buccaneers, while Darrell Combs scored 16 and Martaveous Smith added 11.
Blinn trailed 54-43 early in the second half before fighting back to take the lead.
“We were playing great,” Schumacher said.
Blinn out-rebounded San Jacinto 44-28 as Kendall Deveaux grabbed double-digit rebounds off the bench.
