BRENHAM, TX -- For the third consecutive week, the Blinn College volleyball sits at the No. 2 spot in the NJCAA Top 20 National Poll. Still undefeated on the season, they remain a close step behind top-ranked Western Nebraska Community College, who is a perfect 27-0 on the year.

In keeping their unbelievable streak alive, the Buccaneers (26-0, 8-0) defeated another ranked opponent this week, knocking-off No. 12 Paris Junior College in straight sets (25-19, 25-16, 26-24) in front of another capacity crowd at Blinn Gym. It was the 14th win of the season versus a ranked or previously ranked opponent, with five of those being against top-ten teams.

The Bucs next travel to Corsicana on Oct. 13 to face Navarro College, before returning to Blinn Gym on Oct. 17 to play their final conference home game of the season against No. 7 Tyler Junior College (20-2). Earlier in the season, the Bucs defeated then No. 4 ranked Tyler on the road in a four set thriller (27-25, 27-29, 25-14, 25-18).
