BRYAN -- With plenty of celebrity Aggies in attendance the Bombers came up short in an 11-6 loss to the Alexandria Aces.
The first 500 fans received a bobble head doll in the likeness of A&M inside linebackers coach and Aggie legend Dat Nguyen.
Nguyen also threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Congressman Chet Edwards was in attendance, and his son, J.T., also threw out a first pitch.
The Bombers scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the first when Casey Dykes' sacrifice fly got Morgan Mickan home for a 1-0 lead.
The Aces answered with five runs in the top of the third and held the lead for the win.
The Bombers second-to-last home game of the season is a 9:30 AM first pitch Saturday morning against the Aces.
