Bombers Open 2009 Season Friday Night

Bryan -- The Brazos Valley Bombers will open the 2009 season Friday night in McKinney. he Bombers will face the Marshals on Friday before making the trip to Coppell to face the Copperheads on Saturday night.

The Bombers have several players on the roster with local connections. Texas A&M baseball players Brodie Greene, Brett Parsons and Aaron Daab will all be a part of the team this summer.
Former A&M Consolidated Tigers Wes Schill and Geoff Lomax will also join the Bombers for the 2009 season.

The Bombers first home game of the season is scheduled for Tuesday night against McKinney. First pitch is set for 7:00pm. Fans do not have to wait until then to catch the action at Brazos Valley Bank Ballpark. The second annual Fan Fest will be held Sunday night beginning at 5:00pm.
